Punting the AI Tool Pile for AI-Native Instructional Coherence
Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM - 10:50 AM
Location: RL 14
Desciption: Every district here has adopted an AI tool — probably three or four. This session shows what happens when those tools stop running separate plays and start running one: instructional coherence, where curriculum, personalized learning, assessment, and mastery data all live on the same system instead of competing tabs. Whatever seat you're in — strategy, curriculum, or the classroom — you'll learn how Kira connects instruction end-to-end, and how to spot the gap between that and tools that only coexist. We can’t wait to share more with you about how Kira's connected approach is showing up in classrooms today, and what early results are telling us about the impact on teaching and learning.

Dearest Gentle Teacher: Marrying Classic Pedagogy with Digital Engagement
Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM - 11:50 AM
Location: RL 14
Description: Explore the productive friction between foundational pedagogy and the modern digital tools required for relevance in today’s classrooms. Educators across all subject areas often feel a pull between ‘tried and true’ traditional methods and the allure of new technology. This session demonstrates how to marry the two. Participants will learn to identify the instructional roots of classic practices—such as Socratic seminars, direct instruction, and formative assessment—and infuse digital tools with intention and purpose to make meaningful learning experiences. The purpose is to blend classical education pedagogy with a bit of edtech flash without sacrificing academic rigor. Attendees will be engaged through a ‘Digital Ballroom’ discussion and collaboration, as well a hands-on Pedagogy Glow-Up activity. By remixing traditional routines, teachers will leave with a framework for creating inclusive, high-engagement learning experiences that honor the past while embracing the digital future.
